At FRAKXION, we believe that learning is a continuous and ongoing process that lasts a lifetime. It involves a willingness to constantly seek out new knowledge, skills, and experiences to be able to adapt to changes in the environment.
Individually and as a team, we take several courses throughout the year to advance both our professional and soft skills. Just to name a few — Kellogg’s Strategic Marketing Course to Build Winning Brands, NEXT MBA course with lectures delivered by top executives from Google, Netflix, Lego, Pixar, and other companies, a self-reliance training course, and Sandler sales training. The reason for our continuous learning process isn’t about competition or mere participation, but it’s about building and supporting a growth mindset for our team. This all stems from the intrinsic belief that we all have the opportunity and an unlimited capacity to learn and grow.
Besides encouraging the team to take courses and training programs, there are several other strategies we have implemented to encourage the learning process during a normal flow of work.
– Individual coaching. This allows team members to receive personalized support and guidance tailored to their needs and goals. By working with a coach, individuals can foster their strengths, recognize weaknesses, and set goals and strategies to improve their performance. We have seen that this has increased motivation, job satisfaction and empowered individuals who now feel they can focus on their growth and development.
– Sharing learnings with others. We don’t keep the knowledge to ourselves. Our learning library includes different resources sorted by different disciplines (leadership, marketing, project management, design, etc.), which is open for everyone to contribute and learn from at any time. In our weekly meetings, we share progress and improvements of the previous week to encourage learning from each other. We also share insights we learned from the courses, books, conversations or life events.
– Peers teaching & learning. Peers teaching is a new way we focus on learning. We share topics with each other and highlight interest in those ones that we are willing to learn about more. Once a peer match is identified, they are then encouraged to set up weekly huddles to exchange knowledge and grow together.
Life-long learning starts with creating an environment that enables employees to have the time to learn. At FRAKXION, we believe successful companies find ways to make learning fit within the flow of daily work life.
