We’ve developed the Refraction Pathway to provide an easy-to-follow process and help any individual or team achieve a sense of fulfilment and contribution.

The Refraction Pathway encompasses a core, five key zones, plus five additional elements per zone. Guided by the areas of focus and strategic priorities, there are a variety of tools, activities, and processes to implement one by one.

CORE

COLLABORATION – A culture where collaboration is the habit makes change adoption easier. The regular collaboration represents a set of shared beliefs that appreciate collective intelligence, creativity, and problem-solving.

RESPECT – Respect promotes positive relationships fostering happier, healthier, and more productive environments.

DIVERSITY – Greater diversity enriches lives and is known to lead to more innovation by broadening understanding and enhancing problem-solving.

ZONES

PURPOSE – A well-defined purpose provides a guiding direction and inspires, attracts, engages, and retains key partners, employees, and customers.

MINDSET – The right mindset unlocks the full potential of every individual and group.

CONTRIBUTION -A sense of contribution brings personal fulfillment creating lift to everyone and everything they touch.

GROWTH – In all of its forms, growth represents advancement and understanding, whether embracing failures and successes or fears and opportunities.

WELLNESS – A positive state of wellness enables us to thrive in all aspects of life.

ELEMENTS

The Twenty-five additional elements expand the five zones of the Refraction Pathway and offer a more complete map to building an effective workplace environment that promotes productivity and fulfilment.

We’ve all experienced times when individuals, teams, or organizations are not performing to their total potential. Most people accept it as just the way things are, while some want to see change but don’t know where to start. Inevitably, when common issues are ignored for too long, they build up like a snowball rolling down a hill and eventually smashing into something. The longer low performance, engagement, fulfilment, morale, and retention symptoms are ignored, the bigger the problem grows until it eventually impacts the entire organization or friends and family of your employees at home.

Inspired by decades in branding and marketing, the Refraction Pathway combines strategy, engagement, and communication focused on your internal audience. 

Often, the solution is addressed by a temporary staff augmentation. 

If a team doesn’t have a leader with specific experience to help guide and grow the individuals in a particular area, a fractional interim team leader or filling in a crucial role to complete a team can help set and implement a direction, increase knowledge, and teach new skills. However, sometimes, it can be a little more complicated. Often things feel overwhelming until there are steps to follow. The Refraction Pathway can be used to self-assess or, with the help of a facilitator, make a plan to improve communication and culture.
